CID – Construction Integration and Digitalization research group is located at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus.

CID lab is engaged in a diverse range of topics related to construction collaboration innovations including

  • Immersive Digital Twins,
  • AI-powered predictive maintenance,
  • CyberPhysical systems in construction (Augusmeted/Virtual/Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR))
  • Building Information Modelling (BIM),

  • Digital Fabrication (mass customization),
  • Circular Economy and Construction Automation.

CID lab also leads the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC) Canadian student chapter to promote scientific and technical developments in Automation and Robotics in Construction.
